Ringo’s first single for his new label Polydor was released in the UK on 15 October 1976 and failed to chart. In the US, where he had signed to the Atlantic label, it was released on 20 September 1976 where it peaked at number 26 during it’s nine week stay.

It was recorded at the Cherokee Recording Studios in Hollywood in June 1976 and features John Lennon on piano. Also appearing, amongst others, are Klaus Voormann, Jim Keltner, Peter Frampton and Jesse Ed Davis.

The pictures below are of my first, and only, press copy which has the matrix numbers 2001694 A//3∇420 04 and 2001694 B//1∇420 04. The record has the odd light mark but plays through excellently. It is housed in a Polydor sleeve – there wasn’t a picture sleeve for this single.

Estimated Value : £3– £5
