Choose Love was released in the UK on 25 July 2005 and some seven weeks earlier in the US on 7 June 2005. It was a CD only release – no viny – and failed to chart in both territories.
Like Ringo Rama before it the album was recorded at Ringo’s Rocca Bella studio in London and the Whatinthewhatthe? and Village Recorder Studios in LA . Special guest appearances include Billy Preston, who plays keyboards and provides backing vocals on Hard To Be True, and Chrissie Hynde, who provides lead vocals on Don’t Hang Up. Ringo’s wife Barbara also provides the devil voice on The Turnaround!
It was released on CNR Records International in the UK/Europe in two different versions – the standard CD, under catalogue number 22 998792, and a 2 disc CD and DVD Special Edition, under catalogue number 22 998798. In the US it was on the Koch label and had a similar release, the standard CD under catalogue number KOC-CD-9550 and a dual disc edition (CD one side, DVD the other) under catalogue number KOC-CD-9919. The DVD for both releases contained the album in enhanced stereo, a Choose Love album documentary, lyrics for the album, a song-by-song analysis by Ringo Starr and Mark Hudson, and a new biography of Ringo by David Wild.

The pictures below are of my UK copy which, as was common practice by now was made in the EU, in this case The Netherlands, for a European wide release. The case (usual slight storage marks and a small price sticker removal mark) and both discs are in excellent condition as is the 8 page insert.
