Come Together (Beatles In The 90’s) Bootleg CD

This bootleg came out in 1996 on the FAB label (?) and has a catalogue number of FAB 3.

Probably the best of my bootlegs it centres around the Anthology project and Free As A Bird and Real Love in particular. As well as the full length version of Free As A Bird, complete with the backward message at the end played the correct way (Turned out nice again – George Formby’s catchphrase), there are eight of John’s demos for Free As A Bird and Real Love played on piano and acoustic guitar. There’s also a couple of different versions of The Beatles’ Real Love and some snippets from the Anthology series – Strawberry Fields, I Will and Derradune (an unreleased George song).

There are then George’s version of Ringo’s It Don’t Come Easy from 1970, three outtakes from the Let It Be sessions – For You Blue, The Long And Winding Road and Let It Be – and a version of Come Together by The Smokin’ Mojo Filters – Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher with Paul on backing vocals.

The CD finishes with While My Guitar Gently Weeps from George’s concert at The Royal Albert Hall on 6 April 1992 where he’s joined on stage by Ringo and Gary Moore and then some more very short snippets from the Anthology project.

The pictures below should show that my copy is in excellent condition all round.

Edtimated Value : £15
