This is the 12″ version of Imagine that was issued in the UK on 28 November 1988 to promote the just released Imagine : John Lennon film and soundtrack album.
We were now at a time when singles were issued in a variety of formats so you could also purchase this as a 7″ single, 7″ picture disc (my copies are here) and CD single (my copy is here).
The pictures below are of my copy which has the matrix numbers 12R 6199 A-1-1-1 and 12R 6117 B-1-1-1. The record is in excellent condition, playing beautifully throughout. The laminated top opening sleeve is also in excellent condition, just some very light ringwear.
