This live album is credited to Ringo alone, backed by his album band The Roundheads, and was recorded as part of the CBS concert series Soundstage. It did not receive a UK release but was released in the US on Koch Records on 23 October 2007 under catalogue number KOC-CD-4226, where it failed to chart.
The recording was made at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois on 25th August 2005 where Ringo performed various songs from his Beatles and solo career plus three newish songs from his previous two albums Choose Love and Ringo Rama. Twenty numbers were performed on the night, though the album only contains fourteen of these, with the ones not sung by Ringo being excluded.
In 2009 both the UK and the US received a DVD release of the concert with a slightly different track listing whilst the US also received a deluxe CD release that contained the original CD plus a bonus DVD of interviews and four of the tracks. This deluxe edition was again on Koch Records under catalogue number KOC-CD-4701.
As I concentrate on UK released material I do not have a copy though would happily snap one up should I come across one cheaply.
