This single, Ringo’s last on the Apple label, was released in the UK on 9 January 1976 to promote the newly released Blast From Your Past album and, like his previous single, failed to chart. The US single release was nearly two years earlier on 18 February 1974, with Step Lightly as the B side, and went on to reach number 5 in the charts.
It was written by Ringo and Vini Poncia and featured Klaus Voormann, Billy Preston and Jim Keltner. Merry Clayton and Martha Reeves also add backing vocals.
