Recorded at various times in November 1968 and sent out to fan club members on 20 December 1968, the sixth Christmas fan club flexi is a collection of messages recorded, for the first time, seperately by John, Paul, George and Ringo with brief snippets of music. This time it is a two sided disc playing at 33 1/3 RPM and does not have a paper label but has the text printed directly onto the disc. It is housed in a psychedelic picture sleeve which, if you look closely, appears to be a picture of a woman’s upper body and head. It is on the Lyntone lable, catalogue number LYN 1743/4. It did not contain a newsletter this time but an advert for “Superpix” Beatles photos.
You’ll see from the pictures below that my copy is in excellent condition. The sleeve is intact with no writing or tears, just a label removal mark at the top right. The disc has not been played by me but appears to be in excellent condition. Unfortunately I don’t yet have the insert that originally came with it which reduces it’s value, despite it’s better than normal condition.
Estimated Value : £70 – £100
