Released in the UK/Europe on 5 February 2001 and the US over five months later on 24 July 2001 this fantastic roundup of Ringo’s All-Starr recordings failed to chart in both territories.
Spread over three CDs this set includes the whole of the All-Starr Band’s first album (Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band), twelve of the fifteen tracks on the second album (Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band Vol 2 – Live From Montreux) and three from the third album that was a US only Blockbuster limited release (Ringo And His Third All-Starr Band Volume 1). Also included are twenty other live recordings from the 1995, 1997 and 2000 tours that had never previously been released. That’s 47 tracks with with a running time of 3 hours and thirty two minutes!
The initial UK/Europe release was on either EMG with catalogue number 12003-2 or Eagle Records under catalogue number 223207-373 (I don’t know why 2 different versions – perhaps it was to do with which European territory it was released in). The US release was on Koch Records under catalogue number KOC-CD-8312.
Europe has seen a few reissues, most notably in 2004 when Retro reissued it on gold CDs as part of their Dejavu Retro Gold Collection under catalogue number R3CD 42-93 and in 2010 when Rokarola reissued it in a digipak with a new cover under catalogue number 250275.

Original 2001 UK/Europe Release
The pictures below are of my UK copy which, as was common practice by now, was made in the EU (in this case Germany) for a European wide release. The case and disc are in excellent condition as is the included 12 page insert. It comes with it’s original slipcase which is also in excellent condition, just the odd touch of very minoe shelfwear.
Estimated Value : £5 – £10
