Released in the UK on 4 May 1992 and the US on 28 April 1992 to promote the Time Takes Time album. This was Ringo’s first single for 11 years and although it failed to crack the US charts it managed to reach number 74 in the UK charts during it’s one week stay – Ringo’s first UK chart entry for eighteen years. There was also a CD single release which included the extra track Don’t Be Cruel which, although recorded during the Time Takes Time sessions, was not included on the album.
The A side, recorded in February 1992, was written by Brian O’Doherty and Fred Velez and was produced by Don Was whilst the B side, recorded in April 1991, was written by Ringo, Johnny Warman and Gary Grainger and was produced by Jeff Lynne, who also provided bass, guitar, keyboards, piano and backing vocals.

European First Press
The pictures below are of my European first press copy that was manufactured in Germany (there were no UK specific copies by this time). It has a silver injection centre and matrix numbers 204 G-0786 A-1 and 204 G-0786 B-1. The record has quite a few very light marks but plays through beautifully on both sides. It is housed in it’s original picture sleeve which is in VG to excellent condition, just a touch of very light ringwear and some very light shelfwear.
Estimated Value : £3 – £5
