This was the second single from the Traveling Wilburys Vol 3 album and was released in the UK on 25 March 1991 where it failed to chart. It was not released as a single in the US.
The original video for the song featured a host of guest stars including Eric Idle, John Candy, Cheech Marin, Woody Harrelson, Whoopi Goldberg, Milli Vanilli, Fred Savage (The Wonder Years), Ben Savage (Boy Meets World) and Kala Savage (8 Simple Rules) though the video released with the 2007 Traveling Wilbury Collection, apart from a brief glimpse of Eric Idle and John Candy, just shows the band performing the song.
Unlike the 7″ single, which only has New Blue Moon on the B side, this 12″ version also has Cool Dry Place from the Vol 3 album on the B side.
UK 12″ Release
The pictures below are of my UK first press copy (there was only the one press) that has the matrix numbers W 0018(T) A2 and W 0018(T) B2. It also has PR-P etched into the run out of both sides meaning it was pressed at PR Records Ltd, Merton, London. The PR comes from the founder Phil Race. Visually the record looks beautiful and it plays through just about perfect. The glossy picture sleeve is in excellent condition, just a touch of ringwear.
Estimated Value : £10 – £15
