Ringo’s third best of package, after Blast From Your Past in 1975 and Starr Struck: Best Of Ringo Starr Vol. 2 in 1989, was released in the UK on 27 August 2007 and in the US one day later on 28 August 2007. In the UK it spent three weeks in the charts with a peak of number 26 making it Ringo’s first charting album since 1998’s Vertical Man and his highest chart position since 1973’s Ringo. It didn’t fare quite as well in the US spending only two weeks in the charts with a high of number 130.
The 20 track compilation covers Ringo’s career to date and includes all 10 tracks that originally appeared on Blast From Your Past. It was released on Apple/Capitol in the UK in two different versions – the standard CD under catalogue number 09463 93827 2 9 and a 2 disc CD and DVD special edition under catalogue number 509995 04933 26 PAL. The US also received the same releases on Apple/Capitol, the standard release under catalogue number 09463 93827 2 9 and the special edition under catalogue number 509995 04932 27. The DVD on both releases contained 6 promotional films and a music video.
