Ringo’s second live album, again recorded with his All-Starr band, didn’t receive a UK release as such but was released in the US on 14 September 1993 on the Rycodisc label and made available worldwide. It was a CD only release, under catalogue number RCD 20264, and failed to chart in either territory.
This recording was made at the Montreuz Jazz Festival in Switzerland on 13th July 1992. Among the personnel on the night were Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren (who both appeared on the first All-Starr project), Timothy B Schmit, Todd Rungren, Dave Edmunds and Ringo’s son, Zak Starkey.
During each All-Starr tour, Ringo will perform some of his Beatles/solo songs then whoever was making up the All-Starr band at the time would take a turn performing a few of the hits from their band/solo careers. On this recording we have six tracks from Ringo and eight from his band members.
To date I do not have a copy of this CD but am on the lookout
